Maq Police were called to the Jackson County court house for reports of shots fired. Suspect was apprehended and ambulance dispatched to the scene.
Former city manager of Maquoketa "Gus Glaser" was killed after shooting a Jackson County Courthouse .
Reports are he pulled a handgun and shot off a round at a meeting... then a
heroic act happened.... he was tackled by Larry “Buck” Koos Who
surely may have saved Numerous LIVES, before one more shot, was taken
that ended up killing Gus Glaser. May have been self inflicted,
investigation will determined.
