Police reported two attempted child abductions within 3 hours Friday night.
According
to a news release, the first attempted abduction happened about 6:15
p.m. near DeGroat Street and Main Street in Preston. A 7-year-old girl
told police a man in all dark clothing grabbed her shoulder. She said
she bit the man and fled.
The second attempted abduction happened
about 9:00 p.m. in the area of DeGroat Street and Mitchell Street.
Police said two 13-year-old boys reported a man driving a green minivan
got out and yelled something at them before climbing back in the
vehicle, then drove away.
