Another
inmate stuffed a sheet in a toilet at the Jackson County Detention
Center, resulting in a professional plumber call.
Sheriff Russ Kettmann said David Ostrander, 19, of Maquoketa was seen on video surveillance stuffing an orange sheet down the toilet. The toilet did not overflow, but jail officials said it caused problems in the sewer system in another location.
Ostrander was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief.
The cost of the plumber's services was $225.
This is the second incident. Another inmate stuffed a sheet down the toilet earlier this year.

Brad Carson apparently were involved, and laughing in an attempt to prevent the
camera from seeing Ostrander.

Lol that crazy. If maybe the jailer was watching his camera more better they would have seeing him before he got it in there. Duh
